so last night, i get off work. as i'm walking out one of the guys i work with is telling me about this party. i show up with sam, everyone i work with is there. appearantly half of the people i work with are gay. and the rest of them were all hooking up haha. i play a few games of beer pong, we walk down the street to this bar, turns out this woman that was hitting on me for about 20 minutes was my little brothers teacher. i walk back to my buddy's house, wake up this morning not knowing where the fuck i was, go to work for 10 hours, now i'm home ha.

I am in no way a homophobe. But honestly, I don't really disagree with the opposition of proposition 8. Just hear me out, like:
I am well aware that over half of co-ed marriages fail. What people our age have yet to realise, is relationships take effort. Yeah, it's way easy to lie and get what you want. It's super easy to mess around with this cute person when your boyfriend or girlfriend have no idea. But fuck, people now a days are weak as fuck.
Think about the kind of people you see now a days. As many people there may be that are against prop 8, there are obviously just as much people that are for it. I would much rather prop 8 be passed by a land slide than a few votes.
Our society is not ready for same sex marriage. I was recently talking to my cousin Wayne (who happens to be gay). Him and his boyfriend moved to England to get married. They moved there last year because they knew the states would never be accepting of their decision, and I was more than proud of them.
What people don't realise is that there are too many narrow minded people in this world. Think about how long it took us to have a black President. 48 years ago, black people were barely awarded the right to vote. For the entire Nation to allow the gay communities to be wed would be down right absurd. So all you people that are upset about the propositions that were passed, think about it, it may have been for the best.
And to be completely honest, I do not agree with the thought of teaching about homosexuality in our schools. I'd rather my children focus on math and english for their future, instead of homosexuality. Our youth has enough to worry about.
If you feel differently, I'm not saying what you think is wrong. Just voicing my opinion since I am unable to vote. Feel free to give me your feedback. |

I've been going to the gym alot lately, simly out of boredom. Yesterday my sisters neighbor referred to me as the 'buff' brother. I guess all this healthy eating and working out is starting to pay off. |

I bought a 1992 Chevrolet S10 pick up a few weeks ago in San Jose for $200. The guy was a total tweaker, and told me that it was a 'beater' truck because of how it looked. It doesn't have any dents or rust in it, the pain just doesn't look that well. So I drove it home and washed it. I did a full tune up on it (oil and oil filter change, air filter change, pvc valve change), buffed out the hood to make it look nice n' shiny, buffed all the rims so they look almost new, buff out all the chrome on it, clean all the windows inside and out, and whiped down the interior. I emailed the guy of the truck after i did all of this to it and all he said was "dammit"
Made me feel pretty good :]
As for extras, I've got a Kenwood Cd deck in there right now pushing a 500 watt amp, a 10 inch sub under the seat, and 2 8 inch bazooka tubes behind the seat. Boy do I love my life right now. |

I start my Fire Science and EMT classes in January.
By January of next year I'll be able to transfer to a station that will take care of me for the rest of my days.
